About the role:
The Sr Manager, Global Channel Programs is responsible for supporting the design, execution, and scaling of global channel programs to drive partner-led growth, program adoption, and strategic alignment with Veeam partner ecosystem initiatives. This role acts as the bridge between Global program strategy and Regional market execution, ensuring programs are relevant, scalable, and impactful across diverse markets.

What you’ll do:
Channel Program Strategy & Design
Own the execution for Global channel programs (e.g. partner tiers, incentives, promotions)
Translate Global channel initiatives into market-ready programs while accounting for local market dynamics
Define clear eligibility criteria, qualification requirements, and success metrics for each program
Program Execution & Governance
Drive consistent program execution across global teams while allowing for controlled local flexibility
Establish program governance, timelines, and operational cadence with Sales, Marketing, and Alliances
Monitor program performance and make data-driven adjustments to improve effectiveness
Collaborate with Corporate Technology to ensure Portal capabilities and functionality are aligned to the program requirements.
Partner Activation & Adoption
Increase partner engagement and adoption of strategic motions (e.g. attach, upsell, services-led selling)
Identify global lighthouse partners and scale proven motions across the broader ecosystem
Ensure programs move partners up the value curve, not just increase transactional volume
Cross-Functional Alignment
Align channel programs with Sales motions, Marketing campaigns, and Global priorities
Act as a global point of contact for regional program teams, providing Global feedback and insights
Work closely with global and regional Channel, Sales, and Marketing leaders to ensure consistent execution
Performance Measurement & Insights
Define and track KPIs such as program adoption, attach rates, pipeline contribution, and partner progression
Provide regular readouts and insights to regional and Global stakeholders
Use data and partner feedback to continuously refine program design
What you’ll bring:
7+ years of experience in Channel, Partner, or Program roles within enterprise software or SaaS (preferably in a global role, but not required)
Strong understanding of partner ecosystems and routes to market
Proven experience designing and scaling channel programs across multiple countries
Ability to balance Global Programs aligned with regional activities
Strong stakeholder management skills across Sales, Marketing, Alliances, Regional and Global teams
Data-driven mindset with the ability to turn insights into action (including skills in Excel, Tableau and other data sources)
Strong skills in PowerPoint presentation development to show data and tell a story
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with VARs, Distributors, Service Providers and multi-tier partner ecosystems
Familiarity with incentive structures, rebates, and partner enablement frameworks
Prior experience developing successful programs/incentives in a regional or Global role
Strong executive communication and influence skills

Compensation Transparency
Veeam is committed to pay transparency and equitable compensation. For this role, the compensation range below reflects the expected total target compensation (TTC), inclusive of base pay and a competitive performance-based bonus. For roles with a commission plan, the compensation range represents On Target Earnings (OTE), which includes base salary plus variable commission. When determining compensation, Veeam takes into consideration factors such as experience, education, skills, and geographic zone. Offers are typically made below the midpoint of the range.
In addition to compensation, Veeam provides a comprehensive benefits package, including health coverage, retirement plans, and unlimited time off.
U.S. Geographic Zones & Compensation Ranges (TTC / OTE)
Zone 1: San Francisco Bay Area, New York City Boroughs $141,700 — $263,000 USD
Zone 2: Washington, California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area) $129,800 — $241,100 USD
Zone 3: Texas, Illinois, North Carolina, Colorado, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Oregon, Nevada, Hawaii, New York (excluding NYC boroughs); Sales roles located in Georgia, Ohio, and Arizona $118,100 — $219,200 USD
Zone 4: All other US locations $102,700 — $190,600 USD
