Job Role: Senior Manager - Financial Reporting & Consolidation

Location: Mumbai

Reporting to: Financial Controller

Role Purpose

The Senior Manager Financial Reporting & Consolidation will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, consolidation of financial statements, regulatory reporting, audit coordination, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements. The role requires close collaboration with business, treasury, taxation, compliance, and audit teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closure activities.
• Prepare and review standalone and consolidated financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with Ind AS, Companies Act, NHB/RBI regulations, and internal accounting policies.
• Coordinate with Statutory Auditors, Internal Auditors, and regulatory bodies.
• Prepare board, audit committee, and management reporting packs.
• Drive financial reporting automation and process improvements.
• Review general ledger reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Support treasury, taxation, budgeting, and financial planning teams with reporting requirements.
• Monitor changes in accounting standards and regulatory guidelines and implement necessary updates.
• Ensure timely submission of regulatory and statutory reports.

Candidate Profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred.
• 7-8 years of overall experience in finance and accounting functions.
• Minimum 3-4 years of experience in NBFC, HFC, Banking, or Financial Services sector.
• Strong knowledge of Ind AS, financial reporting, consolidation, and audit processes.
• Experience in handling statutory audits and regulatory reporting.
• Excellent analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in Housing Finance Companies (HFCs) or NBFCs.
• Exposure to consolidated financial statements and group reporting.
• Experience working closely with external auditors and regulatory agencies.
