Job Title : Manager / Senior Manager - Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

Location : Bangalore/ Calicut(Kozhikode)

Reports to : Head of Finance - Oman Vertical

Direct reports : 3 (FP&A / MIS analysts)

Grade : Manager or Senior Manager, based on experience

Key stakeholders : CEO, Head Finance

HQ Business Analysis & FP&A : Corporate HQ, Dubai

Role Summary :

Own the FP&A engine for Aster's Oman vertical - end-to-end management reporting, budgeting and business partnering across the hospital and clinic network. Convert operational and financial data into decisions for the CEO, COO and unit leadership, and run the single source of truth for performance across all entities.

Critically, this role is the vertical's primary interface to Corporate HQ (CHQ) - owning the monthly MMM pack, the HQ budget/estimate submissions and all standard HQ output templates to the required format, quality and timeline. The successful candidate must be fluent in HQ reporting standards and able to deliver reconciled, template-compliant submissions without rework.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Month-End Close & Management Reporting

- Own end-to-end monthly close reporting across all Oman entities - consolidated and unit-wise P&L, balance sheet and cash flow, delivered within 5 days of month-end.

- Deliver the CEO / board reporting pack - actuals vs budget and prior year, variance commentary and key drivers (occupancy, ARPOB, case mix, payor/insurance mix, doctor productivity).

- Prepare and drive the Monthly Management Meeting (MMM) deck - PPT plus supporting workings that fully back every number; track and close out actions.

- Prepare and drive the Monthly Sales and Marketing review deck - PPT plus supporting workings that fully back every number; track and close out actions.

2. HQ Reporting & Consolidation

- Prepare all HQ standard output templates to the prescribed format - Base (operational & financial), Doctor Cost (doctor-wise revenue & cost), with Facility / Employee / Doctor masters kept current.

- Calculate and analyse working-capital metrics - DSO, DPO, DIO and working-capital ratios - for HQ and management reporting.

- Monthly marketing-spend and MVT-business MIS reporting to CHQ, plus timely capex reporting on the prescribed framework.

- Track Capex and Slow moving inventory ensuring utilization tracking/adequate provisions and reporting the same to CHQ.

3. Budgeting & Forecasting

- Lead the annual budget and rolling forecasts / estimates - top-down targets through to bottom-up unit build, benchmarked against the Business Plan, with justification for material deviations.

- Model revenue by specialty, payor and unit; build opex, manpower and capex plans to HQ guidelines.

4. Data & MIS Infrastructure

- Build and maintain the central data repository / single source of truth - automated, reconciled and dashboard-ready.

- Standardise KPI definitions and reporting logic across entities and drive automation of recurring reporting (daily revenue / collections flash through to the MMM pack).

Qualifications & Experience Requirement Detail :

Qualification : Chartered Accountant (CA)

Experience : 5+ years in FP&A - Healthcare / hospital finance strongly preferred.

P&L Consolidation : Exposure to Oracle EPM (FCCS) / GRP consolidation preferred.

Domain fluency : Hospital KPI fluency (occupancy, ARPOB, case mix, payor / insurance analytics) and revenue-cycle understanding.

Systems (required) : Advanced Excel and financial modelling; hands-on working experience of Power BI (or equivalent) and Oracle / SAP ERP.

HQ reporting : Proven experience preparing standardised group / HQ reporting packs and budget templates to a fixed format and timeline.
