Senior Manager - Finance

Responsibilities

• Accounting & Financial Ops: Own month-end and year-end closes across both entities using Zoho Books. Manage AR/AP, intercompany transactions, and complex multi-party platform reconciliations (referrals, revenue shares, and payouts).
• Compliance, Tax & Audits: Ensure accurate and timely filings for GST (including ITC tracking), TDS/TCS, Income Tax, and ROC/MCA. Serve as the primary contact for statutory, tax, and internal audits. Manage compliance regarding bank/NBFC payment product partnerships.Coordinate with partner banks on data sharing, reconciliation, and timely closure of PL invoicing and settlement for the card portfolio
• Strategic FP&A: Build and track corporate budgets, cash flow forecasts, and runway metrics. Develop product-level P&Ls, cohort/payback analyses, and executive MIS dashboards.
• Fundraising & Due Diligence: Lead financial modeling and cap table projections for equity and debt raises. Maintain a secure virtual data room and resolve financial, tax, and regulatory diligence queries from institutional investors and lenders.
• ESOP & Cap Table Management: Administer the full ESOP lifecycle (grant letters, vesting, exercises). Handle share-based payment accounting, independent valuations, and perquisite tax filings.
• Treasury & Partner Finance: Manage working capital, bank relationships, and credit facilities. Oversee commission and payout cycles with distribution partners, DSAs, and agents while monitoring partner-level profitability to eliminate revenue leakage.
• Team Leadership: Hire and mentor a high-performing finance team while embedding cross-functional financial discipline across Product, Ops, and Legal.

Requirements

• Chartered Accountant (CA)
•  6+ years of post-qualification experience, ideally within a high-growth Fintech or startup environment.
• Deep knowledge of Indian direct/indirect tax, Companies Act frameworks, and multi-party reconciliation workflows.
• Mastery of Zoho Books (or modern ERPs) and advanced financial modeling in Excel/Google Sheets.
• Exceptional communicator who can effortlessly shift from micro-level journal entries to macro-level investor pitches.Must have experience in a team management role.
• Accustomed to dealing with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to collaborate successfully across various functions.
