The Role
Scimplify is looking for a Senior Manager - Critical Metals Rare Earths to help build and scale our metals business in India.
The role will focus on business development, customer acquisition and building a strong sales pipeline across critical metals, minor metals and rare earths.
Key Responsibilities
Build and manage the India sales pipeline for Scimplify s critical and specialty metals portfolio.
Identify and reach out to companies involved in buying, processing, manufacturing and trading of critical metals, minor metals and rare earths.
Develop relationships with procurement, commercial and business teams.
Leverage industry networks to generate new customer and business opportunities.
Understand customer requirements, pricing, market trends and sourcing opportunities.
Work with internal sourcing and operations teams to develop solutions for customers.
Manage the sales cycle from prospecting to negotiation and closure.
Identify new products, customers and applications to grow the metals business.
Ideal Candidate
3-4 years of experience in metals trading, commodity trading, B2B sales or business development.
Experience in critical metals, minor metals, rare earths or specialty metals is strongly preferred.
Existing network among Indian metal buyers, traders, manufacturers or processors is a strong advantage.
Understanding of metal pricing, sourcing, trading and supply chains.
Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build a business from the ground up.
Preferred Exposure
Experience with Lithium, Cobalt, Nickel, Graphite, Manganese, Copper, Tin, Tungsten, Indium, Gallium, Germanium, Tellurium, Tantalum, Niobium or Rare Earth Elements will be an advantage.
