The Senior Manager-Compliance Operations will lead compliance operations, AML monitoring, regulatory reporting, and governance processes at WazirX. This role requires strong operational ownership, regulatory understanding, and the ability to manage compliance workflows at scale.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage compliance operations and AML monitoring activities
- Oversee transaction monitoring, escalations, and regulatory reporting
- Drive implementation of compliance policies, SOPs, and controls
- Collaborate with legal, risk, and technology teams on compliance workflows
- Support audits, inspections, and regulatory interactions
- Drive process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives
Requirements
- 8-12 years of experience in compliance, AML, or legal operations
- Strong understanding of AML, KYC, and regulatory frameworks
- Experience managing compliance operations teams
- Ability to work across regulatory, legal, and operational functions
- Strong analytical and stakeholder management capabilities
- Experience in fintech, crypto, or financial services environments
Nice to Have
- Experience with blockchain analytics or VDA compliance frameworks
