Senior Manager - Channel Sales (Solar Rooftop)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented sales leader to head our Solar Rooftop Channel Sales business. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in solar/renewable energy sales, B2C business development, dealer and distributor network expansion, and sales team leadership.

The candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, expanding market reach, strengthening channel partnerships, and developing sales strategies aligned with the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana.

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales and channel distribution strategies for the solar rooftop business.
• Expand the dealer, distributor, installer, and channel partner network across multiple regions.
• Drive B2C sales of rooftop solar solutions, including PV modules, solar panels, inverters, mounting structures, and related products.
• Develop business plans, revenue targets, market penetration strategies, and channel expansion initiatives.
• Lead, mentor, and manage regional sales managers and frontline sales teams.
• Build strategic partnerships and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and channel partners.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing, sales performance, and profitability.
• Drive business opportunities under PM Surya Ghar and other relevant rooftop solar initiatives.
• Collaborate with marketing, technical, supply chain, installation, and service teams to achieve business objectives.

Preferred candidate profile

• Graduate in any discipline, MBA or Engineering qualification preferred.
• 12+ years of overall sales experience, with substantial experience in solar or renewable energy.
• Mandatory experience in channel sales involving solar rooftop, PV modules, solar panels, solar inverters, or solar mounting structures.
