Senior Manager_Business Development (Debt Syndication/Corp Lending)

What you'll do

• Find mid-sized and large companies that need debt funding: term loans, working capital (CC/OD), project finance, structured debt, equipment finance, LAP, refinancing or balance-sheet restructuring
• Build and use relationships with promoters, CFOs, CAs, bankers, NBFC officials and business intermediaries to create deal flow
• Qualify each opportunity on ticket size, funding need, urgency and the company's financial profile
• Set up warm introductions and meetings with our founders, and follow up until the mandate is handed over
• Keep a clear lead pipeline and share regular status updates

Who we're looking for

• 815 years in corporate banking, SME or mid-corporate lending, debt syndication, NBFC business sourcing, or financial-services sales (bancassurance professionals with strong corporate relationships are welcome)
• Typical backgrounds: Relationship Managers or Senior RMs at banks and NBFCs, BD professionals at debt syndication or advisory firms, and senior loan-sourcing professionals
• An active network among CFOs, promoters, CAs and bankers that you can put to work from day one
• A proven record of bringing in business through relationships. Please be ready to share examples.
• A good grasp of corporate debt products and credit basics, and comfort talking with senior finance decision-makers
• Self-driven, entrepreneurial and comfortable working independently
