Senior Manager - Business Development - AAP

Axis Max Life Insurance is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager - Business Development - AAP to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive business growth through our AAP (Alternate Avenues of Production) channel. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to identify new business opportunities, enhance existing partnerships, and ensure that sales targets are met consistently.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement strategic plans to increase sales and market share in the AAP channel.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners and stakeholders to drive collaboration and growth.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Lead and mentor a team of business development professionals, providing guidance and support in achieving targets.
- Collaborate with marketing, product development, and operations teams to ensure alignment of strategies and execution.
- Monitor performance metrics and prepare regular reports for senior management on the progress of business development efforts.
- Conduct training and workshops to enhance the capabilities of the team and partners in sales techniques and product knowledge.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies in all business development activities.

Skills and Tools Required:

- Strong experience in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for building relationships with partners and stakeholders.
- Proven leadership abilities, with experience in managing and mentoring a sales team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities and develop effective strategies.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other business development tools to track performance and manage relationships.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong negotiation skills and a results-oriented mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; a Master s degree is a plus.
- At least 7-10 years of experience in business development or related roles, with a track record of successful sales performance.
- Knowledge of insurance products and financial markets is an advantage.
- Familiarity with digital marketing strategies and tools to enhance business development efforts.
