Senior Manager / Assistant Vice President Debt Capital Markets (5-9 yrs)

What you'll do:

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Manager / Assistant Vice President Debt Capital Markets to lead origination, structuring, and execution of debt transactions. The role requires expertise in securitisation, structured credit, and debt arrangement, with strong relationships across banks, NBFCs, investors, and originators. The successful candidate will expand financing access for leading institutions by leveraging Kaleidofins score powered capital markets capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Origination:

- Identify, assess, and onboard high-quality lending institutions and originators across India.

- Build relationships with both established and emerging lenders across asset classes including Microfinance, Gold Loans, MSME Lending, Affordable Housing, Vehicle Finance, Green Finance, and other retail and emerging asset classes.

- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of securitisation, direct assignment, and structured credit opportunities.

- Pitch and position KI's score-powered capital market solutions to lenders seeking efficient funding access.

Transaction Structuring & Execution:

- Lead the end-to-end execution of Pass Through Certificate (PTC) transactions, Direct Assignment (DA) transactions, Pool buyouts, Structured debt transactions, and other capital market instruments.

- Work closely with originators, investors, rating agencies, legal counsels, trustees, and internal teams throughout the transaction lifecycle.

- Structure transactions to meet risk, regulatory, and investor requirements while maximizing execution outcomes.

- Support due diligence, pool analysis, cash flow assessment, and transaction documentation.

Investor Coverage & Market Development:

- Build and manage relationships with Banks, NBFCs, Mutual Funds, Insurance Companies, AIFs, Family Offices, and Institutional Investors.

- Develop investor interest and participation in structured finance instruments, especially PTCs and other securitized assets.

- Track investor preferences, market trends, pricing dynamics, and emerging opportunities.

Risk & Credit Assessment:

- Evaluate business models and portfolio quality of originators.

- Collaborate with credit and risk teams to assess transaction feasibility and risk-adjusted returns.

- Develop a strong understanding of asset-level performance, underwriting quality, and servicing capabilities.

Who you need to be:

- 5-7 years in debt capital markets, structured finance, and securitisation.

- Proven track record with banks, NBFCs, and institutional investors.

- Established industry network preferred.

- Expertise in securitisation, PTCs, direct assignments, structured finance.

- Strong knowledge of debt capital markets, credit assessment, and RBI guidelines.

- Experience in debt arrangement and capital raising.

- Ability to structure and execute complex deals.

- Sales and business development focus.

- Skilled in sourcing, pitching, negotiating, and closing.

- Strong stakeholder management and networking.

- Entrepreneurial, risk-aware, and execution-driven.

- Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Education & Qualifications:

- MBA/PGDM in Finance preferred.

- CA, CFA, or FRM an added advantage.

- Solid academic grounding in finance, credit, banking, or capital markets.
