Senior Manager/Assistant General Manager - Pricing - Manufacturing

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Pricing professional to drive pricing strategy and price realization across multiple business divisions in India. The role will work closely with Product Management, Sales and Marketing teams to understand market dynamics, competition and customer/channel requirements and translate these insights into effective pricing decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Drive price realization and pricing initiatives across various business divisions.

- Conduct competition analysis and market price benchmarking in collaboration with Product Management teams.

- Develop and implement pricing strategies for Project, Retail and Stock sales.

- Analyze market pricing trends and provide inputs for pricing decisions.

- Support projects related to market strategy, product planning and competitive benchmarking.

- Track market and competitor developments through customer/market interactions and industry events.

- Review and revise price points for existing products based on market dynamics.

- Develop pricing models for new products, aligned with commercial policies and business objectives.

- Build price-volume sensitivities using different business assumptions.

- Work with cross-functional stakeholders to support profitable growth and effective price realization.

Functional Competencies:

- Strong understanding of pricing concepts, price realization and price-volume analytics.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Good understanding of financial and commercial concepts.

- Understanding of channel, retail and direct/project sales.

- Strong Excel and MS Office skills.

- Exposure to Power BI, SQL and other analytical tools will be preferred.

- Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.

Candidate Profile:

- Graduate with MBA in Marketing / Finance from a reputed institution.

- 10+ years of overall experience, with at least 7 years in Pricing / Pricing Strategy / Commercial Excellence / Revenue Management or a closely related role.

- Experience in electrical, industrial, building products, engineering, automation, consumer durables or related B2B product industries will be preferred.

- Candidates should have demonstrated experience in pricing decisions, competition benchmarking and market analysis.

- Should be comfortable working in a dynamic, business-facing environment and managing multiple stakeholders.
