Senior Manager - Accounts

Role & responsibilities

• Project Milestone & RA Invoicing: Oversee the end-to-end preparation, submission, and aggressive follow-up of Running Account (RA) bills, Milestone Invoices, and Joint Measurement Records (JMR) for civil, structural, and commissioning works.
• Supply Billing: Oversee and ensure timely billing for supply of self-manufactured as well as bought-out equipment to the customers along with the documents required for processing of the invoices by the customers as per respective contracts.
• Price Variation Clause (PVC) Execution: Shall be responsible for calculation, submission, and reconciliation of price escalation/de-escalation claims using formulas, RBI indices, or custom project-specific indices for steel, cement, copper, fuel, and labour.
• Unbilled Revenue & WIP Liquidation: Proactively track and minimize Unbilled Revenue. Drive site teams to convert physical engineering progress into certified bills rapidly.
• Change Orders & Deviation Claims: Identify, quantify, and process out-of-scope variations, extra items, and prolongation claims. Present and defend these technical-commercial claims to clients to prevent revenue leakage.

Preferred candidate profile

• Education: Graduate / Post Graduate qualification in Commerce.
• Experience: Minimum 12-15 years of experience, with at least 5 years in the billing or commercial department of an EPC or heavy energy infrastructure projects execution company.
