Senior Manager - Accounts & Compliances

Roles and Responsibilities

The Incumbent will be responsible mainly for regular Accounting and Compliance in the Construction Industry - This will be a 100 Km Road Project. He / She will have to work out of Hubli.

The selected candidate will have to work with his/her internal team and client Managers to ensure that TATs are met without deviations.

* Will have to maintain the accounts updated.

* Ensure GST Compliances are in place, without deviations.

* Ensure TDS is deducted correctly and Compliances are in place, without deviations.

* Review monthly payroll activities on a regular basis, and carry out thorough month end reviews to ensure correct payroll finalisation.

* To attend meeting with clients on regular basis for status updates.

* Should be able to handle escalations and give effective resolutions.

* Regular discussions with the management as a update measure.

This will be more of a Senior role, managing the team, complete end-to-end operations, client management, etc.

This will be a accounting and compliances related work, and the candidate should have very good MS Excel skills. Good Working knowledge of Accounting, GST, TDS will be required to ensure correct payouts are made.

Desired Candidate Profile

Candidates who have worked predominantly in accounting and compliances in the Construction Industry would be preferred. Should be able to understand various activities in the process and strive to achieve efficiency in the same.

As mentioned above, good working knowledge of GST and TDS is essential.

Good Attitude to manage the process, clear and ensure no backlogs, good interpersonal skills to keep the team in good spirits, understand the process fully, document the activities, and actually pitch in to carry out any other activity if there is a need.
