Senior Machine Designer

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and develop heavy machinery, industrial equipment, and special purpose machines using CAD software such as Solidworks, AutoCAD etc.
• Collaborate with manufacturing team to ensure timely production.
• Conduct feasibility studies to optimize machine designs for manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
• Develop detailed drawings and specifications for fabrication of machines from various materials metal working processes.
• Coordinate with vendors and verify the specifications of the jobs done by vendors
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 10 years of experience in mechanical design engineering with expertise in machine building and heavy machinery design.
• Diploma or B.Tech / B.E. degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of SPM (Special Purpose Machines) design principles preferred.
• Good knowledge of GD & T
