Senior Local SEO Specialist (US & AU Markets)

We are seeking a results-driven Senior Local SEO Specialist to own organic search strategy and execution for our agencys client portfolio across Australia and the United States. In this role, you will scale search visibility, Google Business Profile (GBP) dominance, and lead volume for local service businesses (e.g., trades, home services, healthcare) across 8 to 15 client accounts simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

• Local Strategy & Keyword Dominance: Build and execute tailored SEO roadmaps targeting high-intent commercial search queries for US and AU local markets.
• Google Map Pack & GBP Optimization: Claim, structure, optimize, and manage Google Business Profiles to achieve consistent Top 3 Map Pack rankings.
• Hyper-Local On-Page SEO: Audit and optimize site architecture, geo-targeted landing pages, localized schema markup (LocalBusiness, Service, Review), and metadata.
• Citation & Link Building: Build and audit NAP citations across core US (Yelp, Angi, BBB) and AU directories, drive hyper-local link outreach, and manage review generation protocols.
• Portfolio & Analytics Operations: Manage multi-client deliverables, technical fixes, and configuration of GA4, Google Search Console, GTM, and call-tracking tools for precise attribution.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Graduate and above with 6+ years of dedicated Local SEO experience, preferably within a digital agency setting.
• Proven history of executing successful local campaigns in the US and/or Australian markets with a strong portfolio showing Top 3 rankings and lead growth.
• Tool Stack Mastery: Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Google Business Profile Manager, SERanking, Semrush, Screaming Frog, and Google Tag Manager.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills for direct client interaction.
