    Role Summary

We are hiring a Senior Legal Associate (23 years PQE) to help build a niche in the medical devices space. This is a hands-on role with exposure to contracts, IP, post-M&A support, and cross-border matters, in a lean team where your work has direct impact. You'll work closely with the Legal Counsel to modernise legal processes, including CLM implementation and DPDP Act compliance giving you broad, practical exposure to how legal supports a fast-growing MedTech company.

    Key Responsibilities

    Contracts

    • Prepare first drafts of templatised agreements and review standard contracts using approved templates.
    • Coordinate with business teams to understand requirements and close out agreements in a timely manner.
    • Maintain the contract repository, track expiries, and ensure timely follow-ups on pending agreements.

    Litigation Management

    • Track the status of ongoing cases and maintain up-to-date records for the Legal Counsel.

    Post-M&A Support

    • Support the Legal Counsel on agreements and policies pertaining to post-M&A integration.

    Intellectual Property

    • Support IP filings in coordination with the Legal Counsel and external IP counsel.
    • Track the status of filings and maintain the IP records.

    Compliance, Process Modernisation & General

    • Support DPDP Act compliance — coordinating with business teams and assisting with implementation.
    • Support CLM (Contract Lifecycle Management) implementation as part of modernising legal processes.
    • Draft powers of attorney and track their expiry.

    What We’re Looking For

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Law degree (LLB) with 2–3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE).
    • Hands-on experience in contract drafting and review; exposure to IP, M&A, or cross-border matters is a plus.
    • Experience in the medical devices, healthcare, or other regulated industry is preferred.

    Skills & Competencies

    • Strong drafting, review, and legal research skills.
    • Familiarity with data protection requirements, including the DPDP Act.
    • Ability to work with business teams and explain legal points in a clear, practical way.
    • Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and follow-through on tracking and records.
    • Comfort with legal technology, including CLM tools.
    • Ownership mindset and the ability to work independently in a lean team.

    Why This Role Matters

You'll be a core part of a lean legal team helping shape how a leading MedTech company manages risk, contracts, and compliance, gaining:

    • Broad, hands-on exposure across contracts, IP, post-M&A integration, and cross-border matters.
    • A chance to build a niche in the medical devices legal space, with work that has direct, visible impact.
    • A seat at the table in modernising legal processes — from CLM implementation to DPDP Act compliance.
    • Close mentorship from the Legal Counsel in a collaborative, growth-oriented culture.
    • The chance to work in a company with real purpose — where strong legal foundations support better healthcare outcomes.
