Senior Legal Manager

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced legal professional to manage corporate, commercial, transactional, intellectual property, litigation and regulatory matters across multiple business verticals. The ideal candidate should have strong contract drafting and negotiation skills, sound commercial understanding, and the ability to provide practical legal solutions while working closely with business teams and senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal support on corporate governance, transaction structuring, risk assessment and commercial matters.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements, including franchise, licensing, revenue-sharing, vendor, client, MSA, SLA, manufacturing and partnership agreements.
• Handle strategic transactions, including Shareholders Agreements, Joint Venture Agreements, MOUs, investment documentation, equity/warrant agreements and restructuring matters.
• Manage intellectual property matters, including trademarks, licensing and IP protection.
• Handle legal notices, litigation, dispute resolution and coordination with external legal counsel.
• Develop legal SOPs, compliance processes and contract management frameworks.
• Advise business, operations, finance, HR and other stakeholders on legal risks and compliance requirements.
• Independently manage multiple legal matters and ensure timely closure.

Candidate Requirements:

• LL.B. from a recognised university; LL.M. or additional legal qualifications will be an advantage.
• 7–8 years of relevant experience in corporate legal, commercial law, in-house legal teams or law firms.
• Strong expertise in contract drafting, review, negotiation and risk assessment.
• Good understanding of corporate law, contract law, intellectual property, litigation and regulatory compliance.
• Experience handling complex commercial agreements and strategic transactions.
• Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience coordinating with external counsel and managing disputes.
• High ownership, attention to detail and the ability to work under tight timelines.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

Candidates with hands-on experience in corporate and commercial legal matters, complex agreement drafting, transactional documentation and business-oriented legal advisory will be preferred.
