About this role
1. Legal Strategy & Advisory
- Provide legal counsel to senior management on business decisions, risk mitigation, and compliance
- Develop and implement legal strategies aligned with business goals
- Handle high-value legal matters and critical decision-making
2. Land Acquisition & Title Due Diligence
- Conduct and supervise title search and verification
- Manage land acquisition documentation and agreements
- Ensure compliance with local land laws and property regulations
3. Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure adherence to Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 (RERA)
- Oversee compliance with:
- Local municipal laws
- Environmental regulations
- Stamp duty and registration laws
4. Contract Management
- Draft, vet, and negotiate:
- Joint Development Agreements (JDA)
- Sale Agreements
- Lease Agreements
- Vendor and contractor contracts
- Ensure legally sound documentation to minimize risk
5. Litigation Management
- Handle civil, criminal, and regulatory cases
- Liaise with external legal counsel and represent the company when required
- Manage dispute resolution, arbitration, and settlements
6. Liaison & Government Coordination
- Coordinate with government authorities, regulatory bodies and legal institutions
- Manage approvals, licenses, and legal documentation
7. Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor the legal team
- Manage external law firms and consultants
- Build internal legal processes and governance frameworks

Educational Qualification & Experience
- LLB / LLM from a recognized university
- 1018+ years of relevant legal experience
