Senior Legal Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Handle litigation and arbitration matters and coordinate with external advocates.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts, agreements, MoUs, NDAs and legal documents.
• Handle legal notices, replies and legal correspondence.
• Ensure timely legal and statutory compliances applicable to the company.
• Provide legal advice to management and various departments.
• Monitor ongoing cases, hearings, deadlines and legal documentation.
• Identify legal risks and recommend appropriate preventive actions.
• Maintain proper records of contracts, cases, notices and compliance documents.
• Provide regular updates to management regarding important legal matters and potential risks.

Preferred candidate profile

• LLB degree mandatory; LLM preferred.
• 3-6 years of relevant experience in corporate/in-house legal or law firm environment.
• Strong knowledge of litigation, arbitration, contract drafting and legal compliance.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, communication and documentation skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Office and legal research.
• Ability to independently manage multiple legal matters and coordinate with advocates.
• Strong knowledge of Indian corporate and commercial laws.
• Knowledge of contract drafting and negotiation.
• Understanding of statutory and regulatory compliance.
• Knowledge of litigation and legal case management..
• Ability to coordinate effectively with advocates and legal consultants.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
