Senior / Lead Azure Cloud & Infrastructure Architect

Key Responsibilities & Required Skill Set

1. Architecture & Infrastructure Engineering:
   • Landing Zones: Design scalable network topologies (Hub-and-Spoke), subscription/management group structures, and policy frameworks (CAF / Well-Architected Framework).
   • High Availability & Disaster Recovery: Establish HA/DR architectures with explicit RTO/RPO targets, failover protocols, and Azure Site Recovery (ASR).
   • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Advanced hands-on proficiency in automating environments using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM Templates.
2. Security, Identity & Governance:
   • Identity Architecture: Hybrid/multi-cloud identity integration using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, Zero Trust principles, PIM, and RBAC.
   • Compliance & Security: Network segmentation, Key Vault secret management, and Security Posture Management using Microsoft Defender for Cloud.
3. Cloud Migration & Multi-Cloud Experience:
   • Migration Execution: End-to-end migration lifecycle (discovery, dependency mapping, DNS cutovers, rollback plans) using Azure Migrate, VMware HCX, or similar tools.
   • Multi-Cloud Expertise (Key Differentiator): Hands-on experience with cross-cloud strategies, specifically Azure-to-GCP or multi-cloud environments.
4. Certifications (Preferred):
   • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) (Mandatory / Strongly Preferred)
   • GCP Professional Cloud Architect (Bonus)
