Role & responsibilities

Senior Civil Engineer (Alu Formwork Project Lead)Core Objective: Manage day-to-day site execution, ensure structural integrity, and drive the high-rise -day to -day Alu formwork cycle while maintaining strict safety standards.

• Alu Formwork Execution: Lead the daily planning and assembly of the Alu formwork system. Coordinate with the Alu formwork designer/vendor for timely delivery, modification, and lifting of panels.
• Quality Control: Implement zero-defect concreting. Monitor verticality, plumb, and surface finish of RCC walls and slabs to eliminate the need for secondary plastering.
• Cycle Time Optimization: Enforce strict floor-to-floor cycle times, managing pre-pour (rebar, MEP conduits) and post-pour (stripping, curing, vertical lifting) sequences.
• Team Leadership: Guide junior engineers and site supervisors in daily target setting, material reconciliation, and resolving site discrepancies.
• Safety & Compliance: Oversee adherence to local Telangana state and national OSHA/safety guidelines, specifically concerning working at heights and handling of heavy formwork components.
• Resource Management: Track labor, equipment, and material requirements to minimize wastage and stay within project budgets.

Junior Civil Engineer (Alu Formwork Site Execution)Core Objective: Support the senior engineer with on-ground technical execution, daily progress tracking, and ensuring smooth logistical operations on site.

• Daily Site Supervision: Monitor the daily erection, fixing of pins and wedges, and striking (stripping) of Alu formwork. Ensure workers apply form-release agents correctly for easy panel removal.
• Pre-Pour Checks: Verify dimensions, formwork tightness, and alignment before concrete pouring. Ensure MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) sleeves and block-outs are securely fixed within the formwork.
• Material Tracking: Keep a real-time inventory of formwork panels, accessories, and consumables. Report damaged panels for immediate repair or replacement.
• Progress Reporting: Document daily progress, cube testing results, and cycle times. Report bottlenecks, such as material delays or labor shortages, to the senior engineer.
• Quality Assurance: Check reinforcement layouts (steel tying) against structural drawings and inspect the cleanliness of the formwork before casting.
• Safety Enforcement: Ensure all workers are using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while handling aluminum panels and enforce fall protection measures at elevated floor levels.
