Senior Java Technical Lead

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Full Stack Developer to join a high-performing engineering team responsible for building and enhancing enterprise-grade digital applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Java-based backend development, modern frontend technologies, microservices architecture, system design, and cloud-native application development.

The candidate will be expected to contribute to technical architecture discussions, design scalable solutions, and mentor junior team members while ensuring high standards of coding and software engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop responsive and user-friendly web applications using Angular or React.
• Design and implement Microservices-based architectures for distributed systems.
• Participate in architecture and system design discussions, making technology recommendations and solution decisions.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with various internal and external systems.
• Design efficient database solutions and optimize application performance.
• Implement event-driven architectures using Kafka.
• Ensure application security, reliability, scalability, and availability.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and cross-functional teams.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor development teams on best engineering practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong experience in Java (Java 8/11/17)
• Expertise in Spring Boot
• Experience with Angular or React
• Strong knowledge of Microservices Architecture
• Experience with Kafka
• Hands-on experience with relational or NoSQL databases
• Strong understanding of System Design principles
• Experience contributing at an Architecture Level
• REST API development and integration
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Cloud Platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• CI/CD tools and DevOps practices
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Knowledge of Design Patterns and Domain-Driven Design (DDD)

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 9-12 years of experience in Full Stack Development.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, global environment.
