Senior Java Engineer

As a Senior Java Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative applications and services, ensuring they meet the needs of a global customer base.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage scalable microservices and applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve technical challenges and improve application performance.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high standards of quality and promote best practices within the development team.
• Write clean, maintainable code and ensure comprehensive testing to uphold product reliability.
• Engage in Agile methodologies and contribute to sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions to enhance products.
• Document technical specifications and system architectures to facilitate knowledge sharing across the team.
• Handle production operations and resolve production bugs.
• Support monitoring and alerting, performance optimization, and capacity planning.

Requirements:

• 6 to 10 years of relevant experience in software development, with a strong focus on Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
• Proficient understanding of software design patterns and best practices.
• Demonstrated experience working in a collaborative team environment using Agile methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize software performance.
• Mandatory skills: Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, SQL, NoSQL, MongoDB, HLD, LLD, System Design, and Software Architecture.

Nice To Have:

• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Familiarity with database management systems and experience in database design and optimization.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD tools to streamline the development process.
• Exposure to front-end technologies and frameworks.
• Knowledge of AI tools such as Claude Code and Cursor.
