Senior Java Engineer

Required Skills:

• A strategic leader with deep knowledge of the financial services industry and global marketplace. A broad and comprehensive understanding of the different systems, theories and practices. relevant to technology.
• Subject matter expert in Kubernetes and DevSecOps Practices. Requires very strong abilities in critical thinking, creativity, and innovation in developing new concepts, theories, and products to address complex and strategic issues.
• Delivery of Complex Change: Have consistently demonstrated the successful management and delivery of complex transformational change both regionally and globally
• Operational Resilience: Have shown strong ability to adapt and operate through disruptive change.
• Agile critical thinker able to lead through change at pace and with resilience.
• Experience with solution design for technical platforms within complex industry.
• Strong hands-on skills in Java based micro-service architectures. Solid working experience in Agile development framework and familiar with Agile tools.
• Proven track record in driving continuous improvement
• Self-driven and capable of work proactively, collaboratively and effectively with geographically dispersed teams. Help drive good engineering culture and practices through hands on development through short-term embedding in delivery teams.
• Ability to write testable, maintainable code including Unit and Regression Tests. In-Depth understanding of the Kubernetes ecosystem.
• Hands-on experience with container orchestration. Familiarity with Node.js and Go-Lang is an added advantage. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues in Test and Production environment and prepare RCA.
