Senior Java Developer

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and maintain microservices-based architectures and distributed applications.
• Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs following industry best practices.
• Develop secure APIs using Spring Security, JWT, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
• Implement role-based access control (RBAC) and secure user/service authentication.
• Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and production-ready code.
• Apply strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving to develop efficient solutions.
• Participate in technical design, architecture discussions, and code reviews.
• Troubleshoot complex application issues and perform debugging and performance optimization.
• Ensure applications follow security, coding, scalability, and performance best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including QA, DevOps, product, and other engineering teams.
• Take end-to-end ownership of features from design and development through deployment and production support.

Requirements:

• 5-8 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Core Java.
• Strong knowledge of Java 8/11/17+.
• Excellent experience with Spring Boot.
• Strong experience in microservices architecture.
• Strong experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding of data structures & algorithms.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Security.
• Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, JWT, role-based access control (RBAC), and secure API development.
• Strong understanding of OOP, design patterns, exception handling, and multithreading.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Strong coding ability with experience writing production-grade applications.

Good to Have:

• Experience with OAuth2 / OpenID Connect.
• Experience with Kafka or other messaging systems.
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Experience with JUnit/Mockito and automated testing.
