Senior Java Developer

Role: Software Engineer - Java

Location: Hyderabad/Chennai - Hybrid

Hands On Experience

• Lead a team of developers in design, development, and delivery of microservices-based applications
• Conduct design reviews, code reviews, and enforce engineering best practices
• Act as primary technical point of contact with Product, Architecture, DevOps, and QA teams
• Design and build scalable microservices using Java/Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and related frameworks
• Manage containerized workloads on AWS EKS: deployments, services, ingress, namespaces
• Develop and deploy Apigee Proxies for Microservices.
• Implement event-driven architecture using Apache Kafka
• Build serverless components using AWS Lambda where appropriate, integrated with EKS-based services
• Design CI/CD pipelines for Kubernetes deployments ( Jenkins, GitLab CI) including GitOps practices

Required Technical Skills

Languages/Frameworks: Java (8/11/17+), Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA

Container Orchestration: AWS EKS (strong hands-on), Kubernetes (Deployments, StatefulSets, ConfigMaps, Secrets, HPA, Helm), Docker

Cloud: AWS (EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, SQS/SNS, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, ECR)

Messaging: Apache Kafka (producers/consumers, Kafka Streams, partition strategy)

Architecture: Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, Domain-Driven Design, API Gateway patterns

CI/CD & GitOps: Jenkins/GitLab CI/Code Pipeline,

Databases: PostgreSQL/MySQL, DynamoDB/MongoDB
