Job descriptions: - The role involves designing and developing scalable backend applications, troubleshooting production issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and taking ownership of technical delivery and quality.
Key Responsibilities: -
- Design, develop and maintain scalable backend applications, Microservices and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
- Collaborate with QA, Infrastructure, DBA and Business teams throughout the SDLC, from requirements to deployment.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis and optimize application performance.
- Ensure secure coding practices and support vulnerability remediation through SAST/DAST and VAPT.
- Mentor junior developers and maintain technical, API and troubleshooting documentation.
Mandatory Technical Skills: -
- Strong hands-on experience in Java (17-21 version)
- Strong experience with Spring / Spring Boot.
- Hands-on experience in Microservices architecture and REST APIs.
- Good knowledge of Oracle / MySQL / PostgreSQL and complex SQL queries.
- Strong understanding of Multithreading, Collections, Exception Handling and JVM Internals.
- Experience with Maven / Gradle and Jenkins / CI-CD pipelines.
- Working knowledge of Linux commands, process management, log management and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, Ports, Firewalls and Load Balancers.
- Knowledge of application security practices, OWASP and SonarQube.
- Experience with Git and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Good to Have: Kafka and Redis experience.
