Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Java Developer role based in Pune. The Senior Java Developer will design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable Java-based applications and services, adhering to best practices and coding standards. Responsibilities include collaborating with architects and cross-functional teams to understand requirements, implementing new features, optimizing performance, and ensuring application security and reliability. The role involves reviewing code, mentoring less-experienced developers, conducting unit and integration testing, and participating in code and design reviews. The Senior Java Developer will also contribute to technical documentation, support production deployments, and assist in troubleshooting and resolving complex issues.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in core Java and object-oriented programming, with experience building enterprise-grade applications.
• Hands-on experience with Java frameworks and libraries (such as Spring/Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA) for building microservices and web applications.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, web services, and integration patterns for distributed systems.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and SQL for data modeling and querying.
• Familiarity with build tools and version control (e.g., Maven/Gradle, Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices for scalable, maintainable code.
• Experience with performance tuning, debugging, and troubleshooting in complex Java applications.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is beneficial.
• Ability to work in an agile environment, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and mentor peers.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with clear and effective communication abilities.
