Senior Java Developer - Vulnerability Remediation Specialist

Job Summary: We are looking for a Senior Java resource with strong experience in microservices architecture, secure application development, and production-grade distributed systems. This role requires close collaboration with the Application Security (AppSec) team to ensure secure coding practices, vulnerability remediation, and compliance with organizational security standards throughout the SDLC.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture
• Hands-on experience with Kafka security and payload protection
• Experience with JWT authentication and payload encryption
• Good understanding of Docker-based deployments and staged testing approaches
• Experience with certificate management and mTLS enablement
• Knowledge of resiliency patterns including Circuit Breakers and fault tolerance
• Experience handling service failures, retries, and downtime scenarios in distributed systems
• Exposure to vulnerability remediation and secure coding practices
• Hands-on experience with SonarQube, Checkmarx, and Jenkins for security/vulnerability scanning
• Experience collaborating with SRE teams for remediation and deployment activities
