Job Description: Senior Java Backend Developer

Role & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java.
• Build REST APIs and Microservices using Spring Boot and Spring Framework.
• Work extensively with Core Java, Collections, Multithreading, Exception Handling, and OOP concepts.
• Design and integrate backend services with SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Work with Kafka/RabbitMQ for asynchronous and event-driven communication.
• Develop and maintain high-performance, secure, and scalable APIs.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, code reviews, and production issue resolution.
• Work with Git, Maven/Gradle, CI/CD, Docker, and backend deployment processes.
• Collaborate with architects, QA, DevOps, and other backend developers.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Strong hands-on experience in Java backend development.
• Strong knowledge of Core Java, Java 8+, Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST APIs.
• Good understanding of Data Structures, Design Patterns, Multithreading, and Concurrency.
• Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL/MySQL/Oracle.
• Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ is preferred.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS/Azure/GCP is an added advantage.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and backend system design skills.
