Job Description Senior Java Backend Developer

Experience: 6-11 years

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build, enhance, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Develop secure, reliable, and maintainable backend solutions.
• Lead and contribute to technical discussions, design decisions, and code reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and optimize application performance.
• Mentor junior developers and promote coding best practices.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Hibernate/JPA.
• Extensive experience in REST APIs, Microservices, and backend application development.
• Strong knowledge of SQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Good understanding of software design principles, design patterns, and coding best practices.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with messaging systems such as Kafka/RabbitMQ is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and technical leadership skills.
