Role: Senior Recruiter (IC)
Work Location: Work From Office, Bangalore
About Client:
In 2018, Client began as a WhatsApp group with a simple hypothesis: people in tier-2/3 towns weren't yet using the internet meaningfully.
About the Role:
As a Senior Recruiter, you'll operate as a full-fledged independent IC, working closely with Business Heads and the HRBP function to drive hiring across both IT and Non-IT functions - from sourcing to strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stakeholder Partnership: Work directly with Business Heads and HRBP to understand hiring needs and translate them into sourcing strategy.
- Market Mapping & Benchmarking: Build talent maps and compensation benchmarks for critical/niche roles across IT and Non-IT functions.
- Strategic Pitch Docs: Create and present hiring strategy/pitch decks to leadership.
- End-to-End Ownership: Own sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer negotiation independently.
- Market Intelligence: Track compensation trends, talent availability, and competitor hiring patterns.
Requirements:
- Prior recruiting experience at a high-growth startup (Client or similar tier-2/3-focused consumer app companies preferred).
- Demonstrated experience across both IT and Non-IT recruitment.
- Proven ability to operate as an independent IC, not just an executor.
- Strong stakeholder management with senior business leaders.
- Experience building pitch decks / hiring strategy documents.
- Comfortable with high autonomy in a fast-paced, high-ownership culture.
