Senior IT Operations Engineer
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Operations Engineer to join our Global Support Services (GSS) team. In this role, you will support and manage enterprise applications, Microsoft platforms, databases, cloud infrastructure, and technology migration projects.
You will work closely with global teams to ensure business-critical systems remain secure, reliable, and efficient while helping drive modernization and integration initiatives across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Application & Operations Support
- Manage and support business applications across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Ensure system availability, performance, security, and upgrades.
- Coordinate with vendors for issue resolution and product enhancements.
- Drive application modernization and operational improvements.
- Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues
Migration & Integration Projects
- Lead application, database, and infrastructure migration projects.
- Support mergers, acquisitions, and system consolidation initiatives.
- Perform data migration, validation, testing, and cutover activities.
- Assist with Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant migrations.
- Conduct system assessments and integration planning.
Microsoft & Cloud Administration
- Administer Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Azure, Intune, Teams, SharePoint, and Exchange Online.
- Support Windows Server environments and identity management solutions.
- Manage Active Directory, Single Sign-On (SSO), Conditional Access, and user lifecycle processes.
- Support Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and endpoint management initiatives.
IT Operations & Service Reliability
- Monitor system health, performance, and operational metrics.
- Perform incident troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Maintain technical documentation and operational runbooks.
- Support automation initiatives using PowerShell and other tools.
- Collaborate with global teams across multiple time zones.
Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of experience in IT Operations, Application Support, Systems Administration, or Infrastructure Engineering.
- Strong experience with:
- Microsoft 365 Administration
- Azure Services
- Entra ID / Active Directory
- Windows Server Administration
- SQL Server
- PowerShell Scripting
- Application & Infrastructure Migrations
- ITIL-based Support Processes
- Experience supporting SaaS and enterprise applications.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
