Senior iOS Engineer

Requirements:

• 3-6 years of experience in iOS development.
• Strong understanding of Swift programming concepts and iOS development best practices.
• Good understanding of UI/UX design and the ability to work effectively with Figma designs.
• Proactive and hands-on approach, with the willingness to contribute directly to coding when required.
• Ability to ask the right questions and clarify requirements when there is ambiguity.
• Comfortable taking end-to-end ownership of small features, from understanding requirements to implementation and delivery.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with product, design, QA, and other engineering teams.
• Strong team player who actively contributes to team discussions and supports others.

Strong End-to-End Ownership:

• Own checkout features from requirement → development → testing → production.
• Quickly investigate and resolve production issues.
• Understands the complete customer journey, not just the mobile component.

Reliability and Quality Mindset:

• Strong focus on crash-free, stable and performant checkout experiences.
• Writes automated tests and proactively identifies edge cases.
• Understands that checkout directly impacts conversion and revenue.

Strong Collaboration and Problem Solving:

• Works effectively with Frontend, Backend/BFF, QA, SRE, Product and UX teams.
• Can troubleshoot complex issues across APIs, authentication, payments, networking and app/backend integration.
• Communicates clearly during incidents and major releases.
