Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Senior International Tax Manager APAC to lead and manage tax matters across multiple Asia-Pacific jurisdictions, including Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, China, and Taiwan. The role is responsible for providing strategic tax advisory support, managing tax risks, ensuring regulatory compliance, supporting business transformation initiatives, and driving tax technology adoption. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to the business, delivering practical tax solutions while balancing compliance requirements with commercial objectives.

Geographic Coverage

• Responsible for tax matters across Asia, including Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, China, and Taiwan.
• Support regional and global tax initiatives impacting APAC operations.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) is mandatory.
• 12+ years of experience in international taxation, corporate taxation, or multinational tax advisory.
• Prior experience with a Big 4 firm, major advisory organization, or multinational corporate tax function is highly preferred.
• Strong experience managing tax matters across multiple jurisdictions, preferably within APAC or emerging markets.
• Deep technical expertise in:
• Corporate Tax
• International Taxation
• Withholding Tax
• Permanent Establishment (PE)
• Tax Treaty Interpretation
• Transfer Pricing Concepts
• Proven experience in tax audits, controversy management, and regulatory interactions.
• Demonstrated stakeholder management and business partnering capabilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize work, delegate effectively, manage multiple projects, and escalate issues appropriately.
• Experience in tax technology, automation, and process improvement initiatives will be an advantage.
