Designcafe is hiring Interior Designer (Bhubaneswar)

Job Responsibilities

• Assess and understand client requirements, preferences, and expectations through regular meetings and consultations.
• Develop creative and functional interior design concepts based on client needs.
• Prepare sketches, drawings, floor plans, elevations, and layouts using CAD software and hand-drawing techniques.
• Create concept boards, mood boards, and idea boards to effectively communicate design concepts to clients.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding and practical application of interior design principles.
• Develop design concepts that are both aesthetically appealing and functional.
• Present design proposals and concepts clearly to clients and incorporate feedback when required.
• Maintain a strong portfolio showcasing previous residential interior design projects.
• Demonstrate creativity, imagination, attention to detail, and a strong eye for design.

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in residential interior design projects.
• Mandatory experience in modular interior design.
• Diploma or Degree in Interior Design or Architecture from a recognized institution.
• Proven experience in client handling and independently managing projects.
• Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD and Google SketchUp.
• Strong understanding of residential interior design, space planning, and modular solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to communicate and present complex design concepts clearly, effectively, and efficiently.
• Strong creative and problem-solving abilities.
• Must have an excellent portfolio of previous residential and modular interior projects.

Qualification:

• Diploma in Interior Designing 2 or 3 years
• B.Arch (Bachelor of Architecture)
