Senior Engineer I&C


Qualifications and Experience

• BE/BTech in Instrumentation/Electronics &Communication Engineering
• Should possess 10 to 15 years of Maintenance experience in a dual-fuel combined-cycle power plant
• Expert in Plant Instruments and Control systems such as DCS, PLC, and communication systems maintenance.
• Should have experience in Mark VI Control system
• Should have hands-on experience regarding Gas turbine, Steam turbine and Boilers Capital Overhauls.
• Should have good knowledge and experience to handle all Preventive, Predictive and breakdown maintenance.

Responsibility

• Prepare the Maintenance schedules on monthly, quarterly and annual basis by considering OEMs recommendations and also based on past experience.
• Trouble shooting of problems encountered during Units start-up /shutdown and operations times.
• Implementation of all maintenance schedules as per approved ones in coordination with operation department.
• Co-ordination and planning of maintenance jobs during shut down with other maintenance department team members.
• Responsible for ensuring compliance to the Statutory and other requirements related to all I&C equipment and systems
• Identification of spares, consumables and coordinate with purchase department till they are available at stores.
• Responsible to mobilize the resources required to execute all maintenance schedules in coordination with Client.
• To maintain Equipment history cards
• Responsible for the Equipment reliability related to I&C l systems and Equipment.
• Lead the department during HOD out of stations
• Grooming junior colleagues and team formation.
