Senior Institutional Investment Operations Representative

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Institutional Investment Operations Representative to support efficient and effective investment operations. In this role, you'll contribute to operational excellence, strong controls, and consistent business outcomes while collaborating with teams to support Wells Fargo and its customers.

In this role, you will:

• Perform a variety of operational tasks for complex institutional trades or process extensive knowledge of systems
• Provide ideas for improving or implementing processes
• Perform moderately complex duties such as processing, researching inquires, and reconciling transactions
• Review time sensitive documents
• Provide training or work direction to less experienced staff
• Support audit requirements within the process
• Address compliance and corporate governance issues for the department
• Lead or participate in projects
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
• Interact with internal and external customers as per prescribed process or procedure
• Identify and drive process re-engineering or transformation opportunities within the process
• Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of Institutional Investment Operations support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
• Experience supporting capital markets and securities operations.
• Experience with corporate actions and asset servicing, including processing and supporting investment-related transactions.
• Ability to work effectively in a controlled, accuracy-focused operational environment while partnering with internal teams.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience in banking, financial services, or investment operations.
• Knowledge of capital markets, securities operations, corporate actions, or asset servicing.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Relevant finance, securities, or investment operations certifications are a plus.

Job Expectations:

• Ability to work a 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM IST shift.
• This role follows a hybrid work model.
• Flexibility to meet business and operational requirements as needed.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and business partners across teams and locations.
