Job Summary
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer.
Responsibilities - Lead or participate in high level technical concepts spanning technology and business
- Develop specifications for complex infrastructure systems, design and test solutions
- Contribute to the testing of business, application and technical infrastructure requirements
- Drive solutions to reduce recovery
- Review and analyze solutions for cloud security, secrets management and key rotations
- Design, code, test, debug and document programs using Agile development practices
- Design complex system upgrades
- Resolve troublesome trends as they develop
- Develop a long range plan designed to resolve problems and prevent them from recurring
- Direct the daily risk and control flow of operations, focusing on policies, procedures and work standards to ensure success
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- 4+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Hands-on experience with system administration across multiple OS Platforms such as Windows, Linux, Unix, Mainframe and related Network / Peripherals such as storage, file transmission, firewalls
- Should have experience on Capacity Planning and Infrastructure tuning involving Memory Management, CPU Management, Traffic Management
- Hands-on experience with writing / maintaining technical documentation such as fixlogs, runbooks, knowledge base, network architectural diagrams
- Hands-on experience with one or more software development languages: Java or .Net programming including experience with Virtual Studio Code, Ruby, Python, Power Shell
- Experience with MS365 Copilot, GitHub Copilot, Devin, ClaudCode or similar AI tools
- Hands-on experience with one or more Workflow automation tools: Ansible, Puppet etc.
- Hands-on experience with one or more process management and scheduling tools: Autosys, JAWS
- Hands-on experience with one or more Monitoring/Observability/APM/Analytics tools: Splunk, Elastic, Kibana, Grafana, Prometheus, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, New Relic, DataDog, Kafka, CloudWatch, Jaeger, Zipkin, Big Panda, TrueSight
- Hands-on experience with one or more Cloud and virtualization technologies: Kubernetes, OpenShift, VMware, MS Azure cloud, etc.
- Hands-on experience with one or more Data storage, management and messaging technologies: Kafka, IBM MQ, Apache Airflow, Logstash, Spark, Oracle, SQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, Hadoop, Cloudera, AWS EMR, S3
- Ability to work additional hours as needed
- Ability to work on call as assigned
- Flexibility to work in a 16/7 environment, including weekends and holidays
