Senior Human Resource Generalist

Role Purpose

We are looking for a Senior HR Generalist to manage day-to-day HR operations, recruitment, and statutory compliance for our Ahmedabad office. The role will cover the full employee lifecycle, from hiring and onboarding to engagement, records management, compliance support, and exit formalities. The position will also coordinate closely with the HR team at our US parent company, Alpine Health, to ensure consistent HR processes and a professional employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing open positions.
• Partner with department heads to understand manpower requirements and hiring priorities.
• Prepare, review, and update job descriptions for all roles.
• Post job openings on Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed, and other relevant platforms.
• Conduct telephonic screening, schedule interviews, and maintain active candidate pipelines.
• Ensure timely onboarding, documentation, and joining formalities for new hires, including offer letters, appointment letters, ID creation, and employee records.
• Conduct induction sessions and support the smooth integration of new employees.
• Plan and execute monthly employee engagement activities, celebrations, and team-building initiatives.
• Maintain employee records, HRIS updates, and personnel files with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Manage attendance, leave records, and biometric systems.
• Prepare HR MIS reports, dashboards, and monthly HR summaries for management review.
• Handle exit formalities, including resignation acceptance, full and final coordination, and exit interviews.
• Support compliance with applicable Indian labor laws, statutory registers, HR audits, and timely submission of statutory returns.
• Handle employee grievances professionally, confidentially, and in line with company policy.

Required Experience, Skills, and Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Human Resources or Business Administration.
• 23 years of experience in an HR generalist or HR operations role.
• Good understanding of Indian HR laws, statutory compliance, and HR documentation.
• Experience in recruitment and statutory compliance is mandatory.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and manage deadlines effectively.
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to documentation and record keeping.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with senior management.
• High level of ownership, confidentiality, and professionalism.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday: 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM
• Saturday: 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM
