Role - Senior HMI Developer - Android Automotive (AAOS)

Experience - 6 to 9 years

Location - Chennai (Hybrid)

• Develop Android Automotive OS (AAOS) HMI applications for vehicle infotainment and cluster displays.
• Build user interfaces using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, MVVM, and Clean Architecture.
• Implement and maintain Bluetooth (Classic/BLE) and Wi-Fi connectivity features.
• Design AIDL/Binder IPC solutions for communication between system apps and services.
• Develop responsive, real-time applications using Coroutines, Flow, and multithreading.
• Integrate vehicle data from CAN/CAN FD networks and Vehicle HAL into HMI applications.
• Optimize application performance, stability, and system reliability.
• Ensure secure, scalable, and maintainable code through reviews and best practices.
• Collaborate with platform, embedded, QA, UX, and hardware teams for end-to-end feature delivery.
• Work with Android system-level components, privileged APIs, and automotive-specific frameworks.
