Role & responsibilities

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Government Sales / Client Acquisition professional with 5+ years of experience in acquiring and developing U.S. Government IT staffing and consulting clients.

The candidate should have strong experience with Federal, State, and Local Government accounts, prime vendors, MSPs, VMS programs, and government contracting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Acquire new U.S. Government clients and business opportunities.
• Develop relationships with government agencies, prime vendors, MSPs, and procurement teams.
• Identify and pursue RFP, RFQ, RFI, and staffing opportunities.
• Develop subcontracting and strategic vendor partnerships.
• Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting to contract closure.
• Negotiate rates, contracts, MSAs, SOWs, and subcontracting agreements.
• Work closely with recruiting and delivery teams to fulfill requirements.
• Maintain a strong government sales pipeline and achieve revenue targets.

Preferred candidate profile

• 5+ years of Government Sales / Business Development experience.
• IT staffing / IT consulting industry experience.
• Experience with U.S. Federal, State, or Local Government.
• Strong understanding of government procurement and contracting.
• Experience with prime vendors, MSPs, VMS, and subcontracting.
• Strong client acquisition, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
