Senior Golang Engineer

About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Golang Engineer to design and enhance scalable backend services for FLYR OOMS
products. The role combines hands-on Golang engineering with technical ownership, POC development, continuous
improvement, database optimization, cloud-native delivery and support for reliable production services.

Roles Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain backend product features and services using Golang.


• Design and optimize database structures and queries using Google Spanner.


• Build and support REST APIs, microservices and event-driven integrations.


• Ensure availability, reliability and performance through sound engineering practices.


• Work with DevOps teams on CI/CD, automation and infrastructure as code.


• Anchor proof-of-concept development to validate proposed solutions and reduce technical risk.


• Identify continuous improvement opportunities for code quality and productivity.


• Support monitoring, production troubleshooting, documentation, estimates and knowledge sharing.


• Apply LLM and agentic workflow practices within the SDLC.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.


• 5+ years as a Backend Developer, including 3+ years as a Golang Developer.


• Strong SQL/database, REST API and microservices knowledge.


• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, cloud-native technologies and CI/CD pipelines.


• Experience supporting high-load/high-uptime production services and Agile/Scrum delivery.
