Senior GCP AI Security Engineer

About Position:

We are looking for an experienced Senior GCP AI Security Engineer to help organizations assess, secure, govern, and operationalize AI-powered agent ecosystems on Google Cloud. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Google Cloud Security, AI Security, Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform (GEEP), Model Armor, Agent Governance, and AI Risk Management. This role involves leading cloud security assessments, AI security reviews, governance initiatives, and modernization programs while helping customers build secure and compliant AI-driven platforms.

What You'll Do:

• Conduct comprehensive Google Cloud Security Posture Assessments across IAM, Networking, GKE, Infrastructure Security, Security Operations, and Data Security domains.
• Assess Google Cloud environments for architecture risks, governance gaps, security controls, and compliance requirements.
• Review and secure Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code implementations using industry best practices.
• Perform Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform (GEEP) security, governance, and architecture assessments.
• Evaluate Agent Registry, Agent Gateway, Agent Identity, Agent Functions, Agent Build, and associated security controls.
• Implement, configure, monitor, and optimize Model Armor controls to protect AI workloads.
• Assess AI governance frameworks and identify risks related to prompt injection, jailbreak attacks, sensitive data exposure, and content safety.
• Conduct AI threat modeling and attack surface analysis across prompts, agents, identities, gateways, functions, tools, memory stores, RAG pipelines, and multi-agent architectures.
• Review AI observability, runtime monitoring, logging, telemetry, and governance evidence.
• Design recommendations for secure AI deployments, governance models, and operational controls.
• Collaborate with cloud architects, AI engineers, security teams, and business stakeholders to improve security posture.
• Develop assessment reports, remediation roadmaps, technical recommendations, and maturity evaluations.
• Present executive-level findings and security recommendations to enterprise customers.
• Support AI security transformation initiatives and cloud security modernization programs.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• 8-12 years of experience in Cybersecurity, Cloud Security, AI Security, Infrastructure Security, or Platform Security.
• 4+ years of hands-on Google Cloud Platform security experience.
• Strong expertise in GCP IAM, Network Security, GKE Security, Security Operations, Infrastructure Security, and Data Protection.
• Hands-on experience implementing and securing Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform (GEEP) environments.
• Deep expertise in Model Armor configuration, monitoring, tuning, and governance.
• Strong understanding of Agent Governance, Agent Registry, Agent Gateway, Agent Identity, Agent Functions, and secure agent lifecycle management.
• Experience conducting AI threat modeling and AI attack surface assessments.
• Knowledge of prompt injection attacks, jailbreak techniques, tool abuse, context poisoning, memory poisoning, and RAG security risks.
• Experience implementing AI governance frameworks and secure AI operational practices.
• Hands-on experience with Security Command Center, Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring, Chronicle, and SIEM integrations.
• Strong Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) security expertise.
• Experience assessing cloud-native security architectures and enterprise security controls.
• Ability to independently lead AI Security and Cloud Security assessment engagements.
• Strong customer-facing consulting and stakeholder management experience.
• Excellent communication, presentation, documentation, and executive reporting skills.
