Senior Frontend Engineer - Ecommerce - ReactJS & GraphQL

About The Role We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with 5+ years of experience to lead the development of scalable ecommerce storefronts and AI-powered commerce solutions. You will drive technical delivery, mentor engineers, and build high-performance customer experiences capable of supporting large-scale traffic and business-critical events.

You Will Play a Key Role Across

• Ecommerce Storefront – Developing high-performance, scalable web applications using modern frontend technologies and edge computing.
• AI Commerce – Building intelligent shopping assistants, personalized customer experiences, and AI-powered commerce capabilities using modern LLM frameworks. You will collaborate with Product, UX, Backend, Data Engineering, and AI/ML teams while influencing architecture and engineering best practices. Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex engineering initiatives.
• Design scalable, maintainable, and high-performance software solutions.
• Build modern frontend applications using React, Astro, and TypeScript.
• Define and review application architecture and technical designs.
• Optimize applications for Core Web Vitals, accessibility, and scalability.
• Drive engineering best practices around testing, performance, and code quality.
• Mentor Software Engineers through code reviews and technical guidance.
• Lead technical discussions and influence architectural decisions.
• Own production systems, incident management, and platform reliability.
• Partner with Product, UX, Data, and Backend teams to deliver customer-centric solutions.
• Champion AI-assisted software development and emerging AI capabilities.

Experience Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proven experience delivering scalable production systems.
• Experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring engineers.
• Experience working in high-traffic, performance-sensitive environments. Frontend Development
• Expert knowledge of React.js, Astro, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Strong experience with Tailwind CSS.
• Deep understanding of Core Web Vitals and frontend performance optimization.
• Strong knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards.
• Extensive experience with GraphQL APIs.
• Experience building headless/composable commerce solutions.
• Experience with Cloudflare Workers and Cloudflare Pages. AI & Cloud
• Hands-on experience building AI-powered or LLM-based applications.
• Experience with Google ADK, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or similar orchestration frameworks.
• Python backend development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Understanding of AI safety, hallucination monitoring, and LLM observability. Engineering & DevOps
