Job Description

Role Title: Senior FreeCAD Engineer

Role Type: Contractor

Location: Remote

Scope of Work

1. Create, modify, and validate detailed parametric CAD models in FreeCAD to specified project requirements.
2. Develop and optimize mechanical assemblies, leveraging best practices in assembly design and component integration.
3. Apply rigorous Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles to ensure manufacturability and quality.
4. Generate clear, precise technical drawings and documentation for engineering review and downstream processes.

Preferred Qualifications

1. 2+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, product design, or industrial engineering or any other related field with a focus on parametric CAD modeling.
2. Advanced proficiency in FreeCAD or equivalent parametric CAD platforms.
3. Strong knowledge of mechanical design fundamentals, including GD&T and DFM best practices.
