Senior Financial Analyst

Role: Senior Financial Analyst | Experience: 4-8 Years | Location: Chennai

Key Responsibilities

• Support annual budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting activities.
• Prepare monthly MIS, management reports, and financial dashboards.
• Perform Budget vs. Actual and variance analysis, identifying key business drivers.
• Develop and maintain financial models for revenue, costs, profitability, and forecasting.
• Analyze P&L, revenue, operating expenses, and profitability.
• Partner with business teams to understand performance and provide financial insights.
• Track financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
• Support month-end and quarter-end reporting activities.
• Prepare management presentations and ad-hoc financial analysis.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvement.

Required Skills

• 4-8 years of experience in FP&A / Financial Analysis / Business Finance / Corporate Finance.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modelling.
• Advanced Excel skills Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, etc.
• Experience with Power BI / Tableau and ERP systems such as SAP / Oracle.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders and translate financial data into actionable insights.

Qualification

MBA Finance / CA (Inter) / CMA (Inter)/ equivalent qualification.
