Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Manager with 12-15 years of experience in managing end-to-end accounting operations for an Indian entity within the IT/ITES industry. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Indian statutory compliances, taxation, audits, financial reporting, and banking operations, along with experience in leading a team of accounting professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including vendor payments, financial transactions, and statutory compliances.
• Ensure compliance with Indian regulations, including GST, Income Tax, TDS, and employee-related taxes.
• Review financial transactions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and tax compliance.
• Coordinate and successfully complete internal and statutory audits.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and budget-versus-actual variance analysis.
• Manage banking operations, including inward and outward remittances, and generate Bank Realisation Certificates (BRC).
• Supervise and mentor a team of five accounting professionals, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables.
• Maintain accounting records, financial databases, and supporting documentation.
• Implement management-approved accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, operational efficiency, and stronger financial controls.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, auditors, banks, and cross-functional teams.

Required Skills and Experience

• 1215 years of experience in accounting and finance, preferably within an IT/ITES organization handling Indian entity accounting.
• CA Inter or MBA in Finance.
• Strong knowledge of Indian statutory compliances, including GST, Income Tax, TDS, and employee-related taxes.
• Proven experience in internal audits, statutory audits, and financial reporting.
• Experience in managing and mentoring a team of approximately five members.
• Hands-on experience using Oracle ERP as an end user.
• Experience with EPM tools will be an added advantage.
• Good understanding of banking transactions, inward and outward remittances, and BRC generation.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet compliance deadlines, and drive continuous process improvements.
