Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Finance Manager to lead financial planning, accounting, reporting, controllership, budgeting, cash-flow management, compliance, and financial governance for our India operations.

The role will work closely with business and operational leaders to drive profitability, financial discipline, working-capital management and informed business decision-making.

Experience in IT Staffing, Professional Services or Technology Services is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis

• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting and long-range financial planning
• Prepare monthly management reports, variance analysis and business performance dashboards.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Monitor revenue, costs, margins, working capital and profitability.
• Analyze business and resource-level profitability

Accounting & Financial Reporting

• Oversee month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities.
• Ensure accurate preparation of financial statements and management accounts.
• Oversee client billing, invoicing, revenue recognition and accounts receivable.
• Establish and maintain strong financial controls and accounting policies.
• Coordinate with auditors and ensure timely completion of statutory and internal audits.

Cash Flow & Treasury

• Manage cash-flow forecasting and working-capital requirements.
• Monitor receivables, collections, payables and vendor payments.
• Oversee banking relationships and treasury activities.
• Optimize cash utilization and liquidity.

Tax & Statutory Compliance

• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act and other applicable regulations.
• Oversee applicable PF, ESI, Professional Tax and other statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with tax consultants, auditors and statutory authorities.
• Monitor statutory filings, assessments and tax audits.

Financial Controls & Governance

• Develop and strengthen internal financial controls.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and approval authorities.
• Identify financial and operational risks and implement appropriate mitigation measures.
• Drive cost-control and process-improvement initiatives.
• Ensure proper documentation and audit readiness.

Business & Commercial Partnering

• Work closely with Sales, HR, Recruiting, Operations, Procurement and Leadership teams.
• Evaluate business cases, contracts, pricing, and commercial proposals.
• Provide financial analysis for strategic and operational decisions.
• Support management in improving margins and overall business profitability.

Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team.
• Define objectives, KPIs, and performance expectations.
• Improve finance processes through automation, standardization, and effective use of technology.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting or related discipline.
• CA / CA Inter / CMA / MBA Finance preferred.
• 10–15 years of relevant finance and accounting experience.
• Experience managing or leading a finance function.
• Strong knowledge of Indian accounting, taxation, GST, financial reporting and internal controls.
• Experience with Zoho Books is mandatory.
• Strong Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Experience with Power BI / financial analytics is an advantage.
• Experience in IT Staffing, Professional Services or Technology Services is preferred.
