Senior Finance Executive

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accounts Executive to manage sales reconciliation, bank transactions, collections, payment processing, and refunds. The role requires strong reconciliation skills, accuracy in financial transactions, and the ability to maintain updated financial records across internal systems and payment channels.

Key Responsibilities

• Sales Reconciliation: Reconcile sales transactions across internal systems, payment gateways, COD (Cash on Delivery), and IB Credit, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies.
• Bank Reconciliation: Manage bank entries, payment uploads, and monthly bank reconciliation, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
• Payment Verification: Thoroughly verify payment files, beneficiary bank details, and supporting documents before processing or uploading payments.
• Collections Management: Track and update collections received through NEFT and IB Credit, confirm corresponding orders, and maintain accurate manual records.
• Refund Processing: Review and process daily manual refunds for IB Credit, NEFT, and UPI payments after validating transaction details and approvals.
• Monthly Closing: Complete monthly bank reconciliation, sales reconciliation, and other finance-related closing activities within defined timelines.
• Record Maintenance: Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of collections, payments, refunds, and reconciliation statements.
• Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate mismatches, identify outstanding transactions, and coordinate with relevant internal teams and payment partners for timely resolution.
• Process Compliance: Follow established financial controls, verification procedures, and approval workflows to ensure accuracy and prevent payment errors.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4-7 years of relevant experience in accounting, bank reconciliation, sales reconciliation, or payment operations.
• Strong understanding of bank reconciliation, payment gateways, NEFT, UPI, COD, and credit-based transactions.
• Hands-on experience with Excel, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and data reconciliation.
• Experience working with ERP, accounting software, or internal financial systems.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
